Care Life Services Incorporates Music Therapy Into Home Care

| Season 3 | Episode 3 |

In this episode: Jonathan Orenberg, founder of Care Life Services, shares his unique approach of integrating music therapy and fitness programs into home care services.

In 2019, Jonathan’s 89-year-old Grandmother in Law suffered a life-altering stroke and he found an opportunity to serve. After leaving his career in the financial services industry at the time, he became her full-time caregiver and found his calling. Upon observing the needs and goals of his family client and her peers, Jonathan decided to apply his performance background and business knowledge into creating a personal care service that gave him the opportunity to affect positive change in people's lives and serve his community in the meaningful way he always dreamed of.

Evan’s news segment touched upon the Caregiver Incentive Project (CIP), the nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of the cared for by supporting caregivers. CIP awards various scholarships of $500 and up to college students working as caregivers. The scholarship program allows CIP to further its mission of incentivizing students to become or continue working as paid in-home caregivers within the existing systems as they attend school.
